Poornachandra Bharat Uppaluri is a seasoned Software Engineer with over 13 years of experience in designing and developing data storage, backup, disaster recovery, and cloud technology solutions/products. Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer at Dremio, where he leverages his expertise in AZURE, AWS S3, MinIO object storage technologies to develop innovative solutions. Poornachandra has a strong understanding of Linux system programming internals, file systems, Linux POSIX API, FUSE filesystem, data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded, and asynchronous applications. He is also experienced in debugging system problems and handling customer escalations. His areas of interest include operating systems, data storage, virtualization, backup and disaster recovery, file systems, Linux, distributed systems, and computer networks. Poornachandra is proficient in several programming languages such as C, C++, GoLang, Go, Java, bash, AWS, S3, Azure, and perl. Prior to his current role, Poornachandra has held several positions at Quest Software, including Software Development Principal Engineer and Software Development Senior Engineer. During his tenure, he was responsible for designing and developing Object Container feature in QoreStor® 7.0 release, enhancing product features to support Object Container Replication and Cloud Replication, and optimizing and enhancing cloud replication library. He also worked on designing and developing a Software Defined Storage (SDS) disaster recovery solution, storage expansion feature using MD1400 direct attached storage, and secure boot passphrase feature using Open SSL encryption in DR Series. Poornachandra holds an M.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a B.Tech in Computer Science from KLCE. He is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for developing innovative solutions that solve complex problems.
